Since 2012, Mid-Atlantic Maritime Safety has been offering OSHA 10-Hour Maritime shipyard employment courses across the United States. We focus on Maritime OSHA Outreach Training, NAVSEA/OSHA Compliance Consulting, and Accident Investigations. 2024-2025 OSHA 10-Hour Maritime Courses

This course is structured to provide entry-level safety and health-hazard information to shipyard workers and subcontractors involved in ship repairing, shipbuilding, and ship-breaking. This training program focuses on hazard identification, avoidance, control, and prevention; not OSHA standards.

This course satisfies the NAVSEA 009-74 requirement which specifies "Repair and maintenance employees working aboard vessels, dry-docks and piers shall have a valid 10 hour OSHA Maritime Shipyard Employment Course #7615 or NAVSEA approved equivalent completion card within 60 days of employment." 

On-Location OSHA 10-Hour Maritime Classes

We bring the class to you! We can host a public or private OSHA 10 Hour Maritime class at your location or virtually for up to 40 students. We can arrange a class to take place at your facility, hotel or college campus Anywhere in the United States. 3 student Minimum.  Request a quote today!
At the request of the student, a temporary certificate of completion may be provided for verification of course completion until the students' credentials arrive from West Virginia University (WVU). The credential(s) will be issued to the trainer within 45 days of course completion and will be delivered promptly to the student upon receipt.

Lost or misplaced your student course completion card? Don't Panic! If you took the course through Mid-Atlantic Maritime Safety, simply click the link below and fill out the required form to initiate the replacement process. Only 1 replacement may be issued per student within a five year certification period.
