About Mid-Atlantic Maritime Safety
Mid-Atlantic Maritime Safety was founded in 2012, and has since become one the leading providers of Maritime OSHA 10 Hour Courses for Maritime Industry employers throughout the United States. Our Goal is to ensure that our students expand their knowledge and gain perspective on how to work safely around the unique hazards associated with shipyards.
Our Instructor has over 25 years of cumulative experience in shipyard environmental safety and health, and has been teaching maritime industry related courses since 2006. After being honorably discharged from the US Navy in 2002, he went on to graduate from the Tidewater Maritime Training Institute (TMTI) with a Journeyman Certification in industrial Supervision through Tidewater Community College. In 2012, he graduated with a B.A. in Business Management from Virginia Wesleyan University, and later that year founded Mid-Atlantic Maritime Safety as a Veteran-Owned Small Business. In addition, Mr. Moore is the Human Resources Director for Auxiliary Systems Inc. and the Owner of Rocksteady Entertainment, LLC. Since inception, Mid-Atlantic Maritime Safety has provided Maritime OSHA 10-Hour Training Courses to industry workers that represent over 200 companies throughout the United States.
