About Mid-Atlantic Maritime Safety
Established in 2012, Mid-Atlantic Maritime Safety has emerged as one of the premier providers of Maritime OSHA 10 Hour Courses for employers in the Maritime Industry across the United States. Our primary objective is to ensure that our students not only expand their knowledge but also develop a deep understanding of how to operate safely amidst the unique hazards present in shipyards.
Our instructor boasts over 25 years of combined experience in shipyard environmental safety and health. Since 2006, he has been imparting his expertise through teaching various courses related to the maritime industry. Following an honorable discharge from the US Navy in 2002, he pursued further education, earning a Journeyman Certification in industrial Supervision from the Tidewater Maritime Training Institute (TMTI) via Tidewater Community College. In 2012, he graduated with a B.A. in Business Management from Virginia Wesleyan University and subsequently established Mid-Atlantic Maritime Safety as a Veteran-Owned Small Business later that year. Since its inception, Mid-Atlantic Maritime Safety has delivered Maritime OSHA 10-Hour Training Courses to industry workers representing over 350 companies nationwide.
